Dear Parents and Students,
Today in class we looked at the different ways in which
plants and animals depend on each other. Here are some of our findings *Taken from the Science
Curriculum*
- Plants provide food for energy
- Animals help disperse pollen and seeds, and provide manure that fertilizes the soil in which plans grow
- Plants need the carbon dioxide that animals breathe out, and animals need the oxygen that plants release into the air
Tomorrow you will be put into small groups and will be given
several pictures to look at, as we continue to investigate how plants and
animals help each other.
